Bitch in a Suit giving good face in fierce fur from...my little secret and I'm not giving it away!

Follow me into the most fabulous gem in all of Montreal. Unfortunately, I have been sworn to secrecy on all things holy to not divulge but please enjoy.

This basement was filled with coats & footwear stemming from the 30s-90s. I tried on about 20 different coats in long fox fur, original 50s London Fog trenches, and short bomber leopard. faboosh.

Taking you upstairs, the store is brimming with imported heritage pieces such as handmade quilts, fascinators, jewelry, couture and pieces like this clutch which had flower appliqué pressed behind a plastic cover and a dusty rose lining. So precious.

This place was brimming (pun intended) with an assortment of delicate headpieces like this 70s turban. The positioning of this particular piece of art on is not attributed to my 'fro but due to the foam pieces inside creating that height and shape. Love the pleating as well.

Having a Joan Crawford moment...this one was velvet and real leopard from the 60s.

In addition to the fashion, there was vintage furniture, china, a room of lace, lamps and lampshades, photos and paintings and tons more. We were there for about two hours but I could have spent a week in this place.

I also got these face masks from a wonderful person who was recently in Seoul. I'm very excited to have a little green tea refresher. I can't understand the instructions but I love the little photos, so funny. Thanks CJM! xxx

These shoe wizards of sustainable design completed a successful (and insane!) collaboration with Iris Van Herpen on two styles; Crystallization & Synesthesia. Loved by bloggers and celebs alike (lilo!!) these are certainly worth checking out. With a flagship in Amsterdam, NY and Shanghai as well as stores in London, Vienna, Tianjin and Guangzhou, these amazing shoes might be a bit difficult to find, but follow the link and you can find them online.

When you were mine

While avoiding the cold here in Montreal, pottering about the house, filing, organizing, researching random shit such as the Haitian Zombies vbs.tv video by the sexy drug addict (I am not condoning...) Hamilton Morris' Pharmacopeia piece:

Anyhoo, I'm really into tights. Most people who know me know I rarely wear regular trousers, I own two pairs of jeans and most of my nylons are in a pretty desparate situation. Nonetheless, I recently acquired a pair of delectable over-the-knee 20denier nylons with, get this, back seam running up...well, just check it:

I also got this great and very versatile army green silk top, wearing it with literally everything at the mo. The talons are my YSL brogues, so shiny.

I think they're pretty trampy to be honest but I know they'll make an appearance on the streets of this fair city once the weather warms...49 days...spring countdown

Also this past week we all got to enjoy at an arm's length the Paris shows, my favorite was Tisci's collection of Japanese warrior-inspired couture for Givenchy. Have a peak here:

This week I got to take in the amazing Robyn show at Metropolis which was bananas, she was wearing these mental mummy-like leggings and industrial-looking bomber, so fierce and adorably swedish as well. You can't see her, but check out the lights! woowee!

BIAS takes the stage

Not that Bitch in a Suit needs an introduction or an explanation but I thought I would fill those of you in on the going's on with the orbital events this figure participates in. Although I wish I was more of an avid blogger (perhaps that will change...stay tuned) the music of Bitch in a Suit is really the jumping off point for this luscious diva.

Now, I don't mean to brag but seriously this event SURLESCHANTIERS ( http://www.facebook.com/surleschantiers) finally took it's climax (sorry Patti Clit & The Vulvotronics...real name, don't ask) once Bitch in a Suit took the stage.

Set in an old bathhouse (definitely the BIAS style) all the acts were from each corner of their discipline from a high maintenance band (L'Ours), fabulous acrobatics and circus freaks to pop art, the amazing Pachyderm Experience and of course, us.

Now, enough chatter, I hope you'll enjoy some photos from the gig below.
